By: DanPartridge

Learn how to Feed Images to your Digital Picture Frames.

Now that your family has bought these reliable digital picture frames, the next thing that you should do is to make use of these frames and display these at the right places inside your living room. That way, you can tell a story to your friends and visitors through the slide show presentation that can be hosted by these digital picture frames.
But wait a minute’ it’s easy said than done. There are some things that should be considered before your family and your friends can enjoy the images and the slide show presentation. You have to make sure first that the digital picture frames are connected to the possible source of images. So what are these possible sources of images or what are the approaches that you can do in order to feed the images and pictures to these ‘toys’.
· One possible connection is from the memory cards, and the use of memory cards is one of the most common ways of feeding pictures to these toys. If the memory card that you are using is not supported by the frame, then it might work if you use an adapter. Of course it follows that the number of images or pictures that can be included on the digital photo frames will depend on the capacity of the memory card.
· Another way of feeding images to the devices is through the internal memory. The use of the internal memory will let you save the permanent collection of images and photos. This means that you can still play the set of images and pictures even if you change or remove the card. Again, the number of images or photos that can be stored in the internal memory is dependent on the digital picture frames’ storage capacity.
· The USB outlets on the frame are another way of showing the images.
· Even a phone line connection can enable the feeding of images directly to the picture frames. Here is how it works; the phone connection will allow you to plug the frame into the phone jack and the frame will use the modem in order to dial up a certain website so that the device can download the pictures. This kind of set-up allows you to share your photos with your friends without the hassle.
· A wireless capability inside your home will also facilitate the feeding of images and pictures. If your digital camera is Wi-Fi enabled and supported by the frame, then you can download the pictures directly from your digital camera.
· Also, remember that an e-mail feed will also allow you to feed pictures and images to the digital picture frames.
· RSS or Really Simple Syndication will give you power as well to feed images to the devices. This system will allow you to download selected photos to your treasured frame from picture hosting sites like Flicker and Picasa. Remember the Bluetooth? This technology also supports the transfer of images to your digital picture frames from a Bluetooth device like your cell phone.
Now that you know that many ways in order to feed images and pictures to the digital picture frames, then now is the time to take those products out of the box and let the slide show presentation starts.
