Is Our Nation's Pride Still On Fire?

Have you ever wondered where our nation's pride went? You used to ask someone about what was the biggest thing that they loved about this country and you could see the fire in their eyes when they would talk about this country.

Now it seems like if you would go around and ask this same question, you might not see this fire as bright. It seems like the spark has all but gone out for some of us because we don't feel like this government is out to help this country or us.

We are in places that we don't need to be in, and we are having so many things going wrong in our own country and in our hearts that we aren't happy with anything. Our pride has taken so many hits as of late, and we are really falling in a tailspin without seeing any help for some time to come.

It seems like we once had a roaring fire and now we have thrown water on it so now we only have smoldering coals. If we don't do something pretty soon, these little coals will go out forever. We need to start to rebuild our country and our pride to get it back to the same way it was years ago.

We were the top leaders in the whole world and if our name was brought to someone's attention, they would sit up and take notice of anything that we said or did. We used to have some of the world's best doctors, scientists, and military leaders and soldiers. If we had to send our troops into war, they were considered really hard to beat.

We have so many people in this country that are here to just make a lot of money so that they can go back into their country and live like kings. They will live here for nothing and won't fight for this country either because they aren't citizens of this country. If you ask them about this country, they will tell you that this country is great and that they love America.

With so many people not helping with our American dream, this is why our pride isn't such a roaring fire anymore. If these people don't want to help with all of this country's problems then they really need to go back to their own country so that we can get our pride for ourselves.
