Men Overstaying The Womans Welcome

No matter how well your date may have gone, overstaying your welcome is a really good way to ruin your date. When she is ready for you to leave and end her night, you need to be able to recognize the signals. When you are considering what you want, whether your night should end with a soft, sweet kiss or if you want to try to go all the way into her bedroom on the first date, you need to be clear on the signals that you are sending. If both of you spend the entire last hour of your date sending conflicting signals, that good night moment is going to be rather awkward.

Usually it is best for a guy to let his date make a suggestion toward the end of the evening. If she wants to invite you back to her place, she probably will. If she wants the night to continue into the morning, she will probably find a way to let you know. The only reason that I keep using the word probably is because women often find that their head and their body are not making the same decision. Their body is screaming for you to come back to her place, your place, or just come anywhere. Her head is explaining to her all the reasons why she needs to wait.

You can always test the waters and invite her to your place. Or, tell her that you would love to invite her back to your place but your roommate is there and she might find it intrusive. This gives her the option to clue you in to what she thinks would be best for the moment. Sometimes an intrusive roommate is not a big deal and sometimes the faux invitation pushes her YES button and she moves her head and her body into alignment and invites you to her place.

Dont be too pushy. Dont invite yourself along for more than a simple walk to the door or the drive home. Dont indicate that your evening would be complete if she would just invite you in for a few minutes. Pressuring her at all this early in the relationship will send her in the other direction, generally spouting off that men are just pigs and all they ever want is dinner out so that they can collect the check later on in the bedroom.

Be patient but go when there is a signal to. Never overstay your welcome.
