Have you ever looked at the clothes that you might have up in the attic and seen several rings of dried over areas? These are from the many times that this article has gotten damp and dried. Your attic will get warm during the day, causing moisture to collect on these items that you have packed away, and then the air will get colder at night. This will happen every day and your items will become ruined because of this action, and it will occur on anything that you have up in your attic. If you have the vacuum style bags, these are the greatest things that you can get to help to keep this from happening to your things even if they are only there for a short time. Any kind of water damage to these clothes can be bad to these, as it will start to cause the strings in the fabric to become ruined, which will show up later as small holes in the fabric. If this happens, most of the time you will have to throw this item away because the damage is done and you won't be able to fix it. Your garage is another place that this can happen because most of the time these places aren't being heated so the weather can really cause this to happen a lot even if you take extra time to try to stop it. If you have items in your attic or in your garage that have been there for more than a year, you will need to go through it and get rid of whatever is bad, and if you have some things that aren't bad, you might want to find some place where they won't be exposed to the weather or just sell it. Most people will pack something away with the understanding that they will be using it again or that they will give it to their children, but most of the time this just isn't in the cards. We end up moving from place to place and lugging this stuff around for years thinking that we will have need of it later when in reality, this never happens and this stuff gets ruined. Like I said before, if you have clothes and some things that you really want to keep then you need to buy those vacuum bags and put your things into them before you pack them away, and make sure that they aren't warm from the dryer before you put them up.
