We sweat when our body needs to regulate the body temperature. It is our bodys way to cool itself from possible overheating of the body systems especially when we perform physically demanding activities. Simply put, our body produces sweat to cool it when warmed up. Sweating occurs naturally when body is exposed to high temperature, intense exercise, and emotional situations that trigger nervousness, embarrassment, fear, or stress. This medical condition is called hyperhidrosis. In quantity, when your palm sweats more than 20 mg per minute, you are experiencing excessive perspiration.Hyperhidrosis has 2 different causes.Primary Hyperhidrosis - The sufferer usually has this condition due to genetic makeup.
