An overview of closeouts and Liquidations
If you're new to buying closeout liquidations, there are a few things you should know. If you are buying clothing that is considered "shelf pulls" then you are purchasing clothing that has been in a store for the selling season and was then removed to make room for new merchandise. This means that the clothing was exposed to customers, it's still in very good condition, but there may be some signs of wear. You should expect to make a few minor repairs. Are you going to get in trouble with child labor laws working your children's fingers to the bone making repairs? NO! You should however expect to sew a button on, or close a seam. In a case pack of clothing it would be normal to make these minor repairs on two or three (at the most) pieces of clothing.
