It turns out that I needed a new hosting company recently, because the stats program from my old hosting company was proprietary and wasn't actually any good not to mention it cost an additional $3.95 per month, and of course to have access to the raw log files (text files that a number of programs can analyze, telling you how many and where your visitors came from along with a host of other valuable information) you had to pay for the stats package to get the raw log files.
